ELI SOBREMAZAS LLATA​​

My name is Elisa Sobremazas Llata.

I was born in Cantabria in 1985 and since I was a child I´ve been interested in art. At 4 years old I was winning my first prizes in drawing competitions and at 8 I started painting in oil.

I studied Bachelor of Arts in Santander, where I discovered new artistic branches that caught my attention, such as photography or the different types of printing.

In 2004 I entered the University of Castilla La Mancha to pursue a degree in Fine Arts in Cuenca. There I discovered what would become my specialty: visual arts. I began to study further postproduction, graphic and multimedia design, web design, sound art...

I studied an Erasmus year at the University of Plymouth, UK, improving my English, learning about different cultures and rekindling my love for photography.

Returning to Cuenca having a speciality in video within the audiovisual world, combined with my childhood interest of illustration, this ultimately led to my passion, animation.

Some of my videos have competed in various group exhibitions.
